We didn't believe the 2019 Acura NSX needed more power after testing it out.

The NSX's twin-turbo V6 and three electric motors provide 573

horsepower and 476 lb-ft of torque, which is sufficient to complete a 0–60 run in less than three seconds.

It's plenty, we assure you, but new rumours indicate Acura may boost

the NSX's performance even further with a Type R model.

But would Acura be able to sell more NSXs as a result of this? Considering Acura's recent sales figures, we have our doubts.
